TUESDAY 19TH MARCH ENDURANCE IN TRIALS

OUR DAILY WISDOM-19TH MARCH, 2024

Theme: Endurance Through Trials

Scripture: James 1:4 (NIV)

"Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Greetings Beloved!

Hope you are well in Jesus name!

The theme for the devotion Today draws our attention to trials in our lives and what it entails.

*Illustration* : Imagine a potter molding clay on a spinning wheel. As the potter's hands shape the clay, it undergoes pressure and friction, yet through perseverance, it transforms into a beautiful vessel. Similarly, God molds us through trials, shaping us into mature and complete individuals.

*Story* : In the book of James, we learn of a man named Job who faced immense trials – losing his wealth, family, and health. Despite his suffering, Job remained steadfast in his faith, declaring, "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him" (Job 13:15, NIV). Through his endurance, Job was ultimately blessed with restoration and a deeper relationship with God.
